The young American pianist/singer first appeared in the world of music when he was the singer for The Black Veil Brides. He founded the band and remained its last surviving band member. Biersack quickly adopted the name Andy Black in order to earn popularity. His music was similar to the music of groups from earlier times like Kiss and Motley Crue.
