Dua Lipa, an English artist and singer was born in London on 22 August 1995. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 following her work as a model and launched her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album was ranked at number 3 at the U.K. Charts, and also released 8 singles. These included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. No. 1 Single New Rules as well as the U.K. Number. 1 single New Rules. The album, which has now been certified Platinum in various countries across the world, won her two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) in the categories of British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough act. Dua Lipa was born in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. Also, her ancestors come from the Kosovo town of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians. She has two siblings, Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa began to learn how to play guitar and sing from her dad Oda. He is the lead singer/guitarist of Kosovan's rock group Oda.
