Alice Braga and Alia Shawkat

Alia Shawkat, born April 18, 1989 in Riverside California (United States), is one of most successful and popular TV actors. The actress played Maeby Funke in the Fox show Arrested Development a role that was awarded an TV Land Future Classic Award. She was a cast member in the film Whip It alongside Ellen Page. Shawkat played Hannah in State of Grace, from 2001-2004. Shawkat, as Maeby Funke Shawkat, was a cast member on Arrested Development throughout the run of the show from 2003 to 2018. Her role was frequently highlighted in the show's critiques. Commentator for pop culture Brian M. Palmer remarked that she was one of the brightest lights on a show populated solely by lights.
