Summer glau

Her popularity is partly due to the fact she had starred in Whedon's subsequent TV series, Firefly. Summer Glau's character, River Tam, was one of the most complex characters that Glau did her best to manage. The character of Tam was forced to take part in trials conducted by the government that required her to become an assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions was taken away from her. Glau demonstrated her fighting abilities as well as acting abilities in Firefly. Glau could maximize her athletic capabilities because she had been trained as an assassin. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. She also has training in flamenco and tango but it was a broken toe which ended her dance career. Firefly featured only one episode but it became a massive success. Whedon returned to the show after a few years. Summer Glau however continued to produce high quality.
